The AIMS network is governed by an International Governing Board (IGB) who serve as the legal parent of AIMS and each local entity. The day-to-day operations of each entity are governed by a local board and management.
The AIMS College of Professors (ACP) is mandated with leading the creation of a faculty, at both global and centre levels, which will play a significant role in the future development of the AIMS organisation.
Members of the ACP will work to raise the academic and scientific quality of AIMS’ output by encouraging outstanding, emerging young African scientists to gain a greater sense of ownership and involvement, as well as a strong commitment to the AIMS organisation and the development of the AIMS model.
The ACP is currently composed of three members.
