Prof. Keith Moffat is an Emeritus Professor of Mathematical Physics in the University of Cambridge. He is a former Chair of Applied Mathematics at the University of Bristol, Director of the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences and President of the International Union for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. He is a founding members of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Singapore. In 2004, Prof. Moffat became a member of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America. He is a fellow in the Royal Society of London and the Royal Society of Edinburgh and received the Royal Society of London’s Hughes Medal in 2005. Prof. Moffat has a PhD from the University of Cambridge, 1962.
