The Communications Officer Intern, AIMS Rwanda (Pan African Mathematics Olympiad – PAMO) will primarily be responsible for contributing to the development of the AIMS Rwanda PAMO internal and external communication.
As the ideal candidate, you will maintain and update website, ensure information is correct and up to date. Ensure all PAMO related events & media have the correct logos, branding and quality, create narrative reports for sponsors to show their impact. Additionally, you will be updating all PAMO social media platforms with videos and all kinds of information that will boost PAMO’s public engagement.
Do you have what we need?
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a field related to mathematical sciences, development education, economics, international development, project management, monitoring and evaluation, social sciences, business or communications;
• Excellent and proven writing and editing skills;
• Experience in planning, managing and executing successful communications campaigns;
• Understanding of social media dynamics and use for impact communication;
This is a 3 months’ internship opportunity based at AIMS Rwanda Centre in Kigali.
