Development of a market analytics module for PICSA

  3. Project Description:
    Progressive market integration by smallholder farmers exposes them to new sources of uncertainty such as volatility in market prices. This internship will support the development of a market analytics module for potential incorporation into PICSA, contributing to the CASCAID (CCAFS) and HEURISTICS (Habitus) projects.
  4. Expected outcome:
    Understanding and predicting variations in market prices help reduce the exposure of smallholder farmers to the risk of income losses.
