AI prediction of agricultural financing decisions under risk

3. Project Description:
   In the agCelerantTM digital value chain orchestration platform, the AIRMAP service bundle helps financial service providers decrease their cash-out when lending to smallholders. This internship will leverage risk scoring approaches with digital tools to predict financiers’ decision to issue smallholder loans or not, and optimize the disbursement thereof, contributing to the CASCAID (CCAFS) and HEURISTICS (Habitus) projects.
4. Expected outcome:
   AI helps understand and predict financing decisions involving smallholders and de-risk investments in smallholder value chains.
