Project Description:

In the framework of the NADiRA innovation action, the agCelerantTM digital smallholder value chain orchestration platform prototyped the development of new IoT rain gauge networks intended to provide live rainfall data from farmer fields at a low cost. Technical constraints linked to prototype form factors and connectivity are expected to result in irregular data supply from variable density networks, and adapted interpolation modules are needed to provide best estimates of field-level rainfall over space and time, along with uncertainty measures. This internship will develop and embed procedures inside the agCelerantTM platform and contribute to NADiRA and to the CASCAID 2.0 (CCAFS) project.

Applications for this internship should be submitted via the online application system, stating clearly the title of the internship.

Deadline for applications: March 29th, 2019 – 11:59 PM (EAT).
