Veronica is a seasoned human resources professional whose career has spanned the non-profit, public and private sectors. Currently, she is Managing Director of V. Utton & Associates, providing boutique style human resource management services to small and medium sized organizations with a focus in the non-profit sector. Additionally, she coaches professional and senior leadership candidates through career management and transition options as an Associate with Hazell Collins & Associates and, is a part-time Professor with the Centre for Human Resources at Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology.
During her tenure as the Director, Human Resources for UNICEF Canada and as Manager, Human Resources for Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, expertise was honed in human resources planning; organizational development; change management leadership; people and operations management; volunteer development; facilities management; corporate operations and warehouse logistics. Veronica is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, a Certified Predictive Index (PI) Analyst, Certified Career & Life Options Retirement Coach and a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) with a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (Seneca College) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (York University).
